about us
We are a community of mostly Chinese Christians who live in the immediate
area of Plano, Texas and its surrounding towns.
We have two congregations, one Mandarin-speaking and one English, some which are closely related by family ties but all
eternally related by our relationship in Christ. The Mandarin-speaking congregation consists of first-generation Chinese adults,
mainly from Taiwan and China, who work and live in the Plano area. The English-speaking group includes children, youth, adult
professionals, and students, of whom most have grown up in and relate very comfortably to the American culture.
Our church family has been blessed to be able to welcome lots of Texas folks as well former residents from the
East Coast (Massachusetts), Midwest (Chicago) and the West (California).
Plano is one of the fastest growing cities in the United States and boasts one of the best school systems in the nation.
Consequently, many people continue to move into this city, though not all have heard a clear presentation of the gospel.
our vision
With a vision to reach the community of Plano with the Good News of Christ, we diligently strive to create opportunities
to share with non-Christians the message of God's great love. Since we are also committed to the overall development and
spiritual maturity of the people in our church family, we have invested in leadership training and cell/discipleship groups
to give them the means to grow in Christ-likeness and to find their place in God's kingdom.
We see our community becoming a
place where the spiritually lost can find Life, where the young in faith can grow in their
walk with our Lord, and where growing disciples can make a significant impact for Christ in the world.
We see the city of
Plano as our immediate sphere of impact and the unreached places of the world as our ultimate arena for making a difference for God.
